Men's Lacrosse Bows to Minutemen 23-2

AMHERST, MASS. - The Boston College men's lacrosse team fell to Massachusetts, ranked tenth nationally, 23-2 on Wednesday. With the victory, UMass runs its record to a perfect 28-0 all-time against the Eagles.
UMass was aided by fourteen different goal-scorers on the afternoon, led by freshman Neil Lundberg's four goals.
In all, the Minutemen outshot the Eagles 63-19 on the afternoon. In addition, the Eagles were held scoreless in each of their eight extra man advantage situations.
Highlighting the Boston College effort was sophomore Bryan Albano (Newton, MA) and freshman John Cella (Cold Spring Harbor, NY), each of whom tallied a goal on the afternoon.
Head coach Dave Curnick and Co. will take on the University of Albany in their home-opener Saturday, March 24. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
