BOCA RATON, Fla.- Senior switch hitter Chris Rosado had six RBIs to help Boston College to a 17-7 win over Wagner Saturday March 10 in Boca Raton, Fla. The win improved BC to 7-5 and extended its win streak to six games.
Paul Knapic earned his third win of the season, allowing four runs - one earned - on five hits in 5.0 innings with six strikeouts. The junior right-hander is now 3-1.
The Eagles wiped out a 1-1 tie in the fifth with eight runs on four hits. Ryan Leahy had a two-run single, and Chris Rosado added a bases-clearing double for three runs batted in. Junior Brian Durkin hit his third home run this week to push across two more runs.
Chris Rosado finished at 3-for-5 with six RBIs, and Ryan Leahy went 3-for-5 with three RBIs. Mike Hubbard and Jarett Mendoza contributed two hits each as the Eagles totaled a season-high 18 hits.
BC faces LaSalle March 11 at Florida Atlantic's secondary field. Game time is 12:00 p.m.
