CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Elisabeth Filarski, a 1999 graduate of Boston College and a four-year member of the softball team, has been chosen as one of the 16 cast members of CBS' Survivor II: The Australian Outback, CBS announced today.

The Cranston, R.I., native was a four-year member of the softball team that won two BIG EAST tournament titles and participated in two NCAA tournaments. She was a three-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star and a three-time recipient of the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.

Survivor II debuts on January 28, 2001 after the Super Bowl on CBS, locally on WBZ, Channel 4.
