ORONO, Maine (AP) - Cal Bouchard scored all of her 20 points in the second half as No. 20 Boston College routed Maine 83-57 on Monday night in the first round of the Women's Preseason NIT.
Bouchard hit five 3-pointers for Boston College, which will face No. 22 Duke on Wednesday night. Duke beat visiting UNC-Greensboro 72-47 on Monday night.
Becky Gottstein scored 16 of her 18 points in the first half as the Eagles took a 30-13 lead in the season-opening game for both teams. Jamie Cassidy led the Black Bears with 15 points.
