Played club soccer for Colorado Rush ECNL. Attended Juan Diego Catholic High School before transferring to Mullen High School. Earned Utah All-State honors twice. Led Juan Diego Catholic in goals and assists in 2022 and paced Mullen High School in assists during the 2024 season. Competed in track and field, setting the school record in the 200m and tying the school record in the 400m. Finished fourth in the state in the 400m, 800m and distance medley relay, while placing third in the 4x400-meter relay in 2023.

Parents are Jennifer and Creed Pettit. Has three sisters, Addison, Vivienn and Alexis. Sister, Addison, is a member of the Boston College women's soccer team.
