As a Sophomore (2011-2010): Named to the ACC Squad where he dropped 2 seconds in the 200 freestyle, making that a lifetime best race... He also swam the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 individual medley, and four relays... Made the Boston College Athletic Honor roll for the spring semester of his sophomore year... At the Terrier Invitational he made top 24 in the 100 freestyle and the 200 freestyle... He also made the travel squad for every meet.
As a Freshman: (2010-2009): Made the travel squad for the whole season... Got a lifetime best in the 50 freestyle at the Terrier Invitational and finished in the top 24 in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 200 freestyle.
Before BC- Attended Needham High School...lettered all four years...team captain Junior and Senior year...Bay State League All Star Sophomore, Junior and Senior year...team MVP Junior year...school record holder in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 100, 200, 500 free, 100 fly.
Personal- Eddie is from Needham, MA...Son of Laura and Ed Timmerman...He has a sister Katherine (16) and a brother Brendan (13), they both swim for Wellesley Swimming Association...Eddie Swims for the Wellesley Swimming Association as well and his club team Shawmut Aquatic Club.
