
Swimming and Dive Travels to Compete at BU

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving returns to the pool on Friday, Oct. 31. The Eagles will make the short trip to BU to take on the Terriers and Army beginning at 5 p.m. Live results of the meet can be viewed via the Meet Mobile app.
Scouting the Terriers and Black Knights
Friday's meet will be BU's third meet of the season. The Terrier men have beaten Holy Cross and Bucknell, while the women have split with the same opponents. Friday will be the Army men's sixth meet of the season and the women's eighth. The Black Knight men are 2-3 with wins over Marist and VMI, while the women are 4-3 with wins over Marist, UConn, Central Connecticut State, and VMI. James Sica leads BU with Brad Snodgrass coaching diving. Army is led by Brandt Nigro and Connor Dorff, who coaches their divers.
Last Time vs BU
Boston College hosted the Terriers last season and swept both the men's and women's competition. The Eagles combined for 21 first-place finishes, with Lauren Lee, Samantha Smith, Jack Doyle, Peter Nolan, Liza Murtagh, and Megan Kramer all earning multiple wins. BC collected four first-place finishes in the relays.Â
Last Time vs Army
Boston College traveled to West Point last season and was swept in both the men's and women's competitions. The Eagles had five individual victories, with Samantha Smith collecting two, while Anthony Rosenberger, Lee, and Kramer each won.Â
Last Time Out
Boston College hosted UMass in its last official meet on Oct. 4, when it swept both the men's and women's competitions. The Eagles collected 24 victories, including sweeping 10 events throughout the meet. Julienne Saliou won three races and Evan Tach won two to lead BC. The Eagles collected four relay victories as well. Two weeks ago, BC traveled to Dartmouth for a scrimmage with the Big Green as well.Â
