Larry Farmer is in his second season as a graduate manager at Boston College.
Farmer played at Denison University (2007-12) where he was a three-year starter and captain. He was named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference second team twice and averaged 12.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game as a senior.
Farmer, a native of Gurnee, Ill., holds all-time career records at Denison for games played (112) and steals (132). He scored 1,137 points in his career which ranks 14th all-time. Farmer also was a force in the paint as he holds the second-most blocks (35) in a single season and the fifth most (29).
Farmer is the son of Larry Farmer, who won three national championships at UCLA (1970-73) under legendary coach John Wooden, and later became head coach of the Bruins from 1981-84.
Farmer worked for Baxter healthcare in Illinois for two years as a quality lab associate and interned this past summer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as an internal consultant.
Farmer earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Denison in 2012 and is pursuing a master’s of business administration in the Carroll Graduate School of Management.
