2022 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 10 games with four starts, completing 115-of-192 passes for 1,254 yards and 10 touchdowns… one of two freshmen (redshirt or true freshman - Drake Maye at UNC the other) in the country to produce multiple 325-yard, three-touchdown games and did so in only four starts… season-high four touchdown passes against Duke (11/4) in his first career start… threw for season-high 330 yards in consecutive weeks, against Duke and NC State (11/12)… led BC to its first top-25 win since 2018 and first over an AP-ranked team since 2014 at NC State with a game-winning touchdown pass in the final minute… completed season-high 29 passes twice, against NC State and Syracuse (11/26).
2021 (Freshman): Played in two games under center and redshirted the season … completed 6-of-16 passes for 87 yards … named a scout team player of the week ahead of the Clemson (10/2) game … threw for 87 yards on six completions at Syracuse (10/30).
High School: A three-star recruit by 247 Sports, ESPN and Rivals … rated as the No. 28 player in Virginia by Rivals, No. 40 by ESPN and No. 52 by 247 Sports … graded as the No. 56 pro-style quarterback in the country by 247 Sports and No. 62 pocket-passer in the country by ESPN … also played three seasons of varsity baseball and one varsity basketball.
