HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead the Flyers to a 5-5 record and a berth in the playoffs in 2008 ... played for head coach Stephen Boyd; Boyd is a 1994 Boston College graduate who twice captured All-Big East honors - in 1993 and 1994 - and helped lead the Eagles to three consecutive bowl appearances. He went on to play seven seasons with Detroit in the NFL and ranks third in tackles (773) among all Lions in franchise history.
