HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated Lowell High School in 2014 … team captain as a senior under head coach John Florence … in three years as a starter, recorded more than 200 catches for more than 2,500 yards and 32 touchdowns, including 900 yards and 10 TDs as a senior … earned Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors in 2014 … pulled in 10 touchdowns and 970 yards as a junior … collected Boston Globe All-Scholastic honors in 2013 … set school records for career receiving yards, career receiving touchdowns, career catches, season catches and single-game catches … also lettered in lacrosse and indoor and outdoor track … member of National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: John Blake Galvin III … enrolled as an economics major in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences … Jack is the son of Blake and Lori Galvin ... the older brother of Blake and Kerri Galvin’s three children, Kate, Carly and Ryan, and Lori Galvin’s son, Aaron … father was a linebacker for Boston College (1983-87) and in the NFL for the New York Jets (1988-89, 91) and Minnesota Vikings (1990).
