Before BC: Spent three years at Yale before transferring to Boston College…Starting long snapper for the Bulldogs for three seasons, played in 28 games…In 2024, played in all 10 games and also recorded a tackle against Lehigh…Ivy League champion in 2022 and 2023.
High School: Played high school football at Manheim Township High School…Three-sport athlete and a senior captain in football, basketball, and lacrosse…As a senior, caught nine passes for 112 yards and 6.5 sacks to lead team to a perfect regular season…Won a state championship in lacrosse, a district championship in football, and a league championship in basketball…Grandson of Super Bowl champion Chuck Mercein, fullback for the Green Bay Packers in the “Ice Bowl.”
