HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state and all-region at Hilton Head Island High School under head coach BJ Payne … as a senior, completed 198-of-297 passes for 3,029 passing yards, 34 touchdowns and just eight interceptions … also led the Seahawks with 728 rushing yards, scoring eight touchdowns on 90 carries … named IPBG Offensive Player of the Year … broke seven school records … member of National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Aidan Joseph Hegarty … an economics major enrolled in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences … one of Elizabeth Clark and Joseph Hegarty’s five children … three sisters, Brianna, Shannon and Michaela, and a brother, Liam … both parents are Boston College alumni, graduated in 1990.
