AS A GRADUATE (2023)
Made 19 appearances, making one start and earning one save, with a 4.50 ERA…struck out 26 batters in 28 innings pitched… season-high four strikeouts in 8-4 win over Notre Dame (5/19)... struck out three batters in 9-4 win over No. 18 North Carolina (4/22)... logged at least one strikeout in each of his first 11 appearances of the season, including multiple strikeouts in seven of those outings.

Pitched four years at St. John's; starting 24 of 30 games pitched... posted a career 3.95 ERA with 118 strikeouts in 114 innings... started all five games pitched in 2022 with a 4.88 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 24 innings.
HIGH SCHOOL
A graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School, where he earned three varsity letters… helped guide the Rams to state titles in 2017 and 2018… a team captain as a senior in 2018… turned in a 0.66 ERA in 10.2 innings as a senior… the no. 22 recruit in the state of New Jersey according to Perfect Game and the no. 10 right-handed pitching recruit.

Son of Sean and Lori Murphy... has two siblings, Amber and Mike... working towards a Master's of Finance in the Carroll School of Management.
