» Boston College Football travels to Cincinnati, Ohio for their 2026 season opener against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, September 5 at 3:30 p.m. at Nippert Stadium.
» The game will be televised on FOX. Tim Brando (play-by-play) and Devin Gardner (analyst) are on the call with sideline reporter Josh Sims.
» Coverage on the Boston College Sports Network begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff on WEEI 850 AM. Jon Meterparel (play-by-play) is joined on the call by former BC linebacker Pete Cronan in the booth and Scott Mutryn on the sideline.

» Boston College finished 2025 as a top-20 passing offense in the nation, averaging 280.2 yards per game. Officially, the Eagles were 14th in the nation and third-best in the ACC.
» The Eagles added 28 players via the transfer portal in January, headlined by quarterback Mason McKenzie and running back Evan Dickens.
» McKenzie accounted for nearly 6,000 total yards of offense in 25 career games at Saginaw Valley State. The Caledonia, Mich. native also earned GLIAC Player of the Year honors in 2025.
» Dickens rushed for 1,339 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2025 as a member of the Liberty Flames. The Marietta, Ga. native ranked in the top 10 nationally in five major rushing categories last season: Rushing yards (5th), rushing touchdowns (4th), rushing yards per game (3rd), all-purpose yards per game (7th) and scoring per game (10th).
» Boston College Football signed 25 freshmen from the class of 2026 in December.
» Gregory P. Barber ‘69 and Family Head Coach Bill O’Brien added six new coaches to his staff this offseason, as well as General Manager Kenyatta Watson.
» The Eagles allowed 3.0 punt return yards per game in 2025, which ranked fifth in the country and second in the ACC.
» Redshirt senior kicker Luca Lombardo finished the 2025 season with the fourth-best field goal percentage at 94.1%, which was the best in the ACC.
» Senior safety KP Price averaged 5.4 solo tackles per game last season, which was second-best in the country and atop the ACC.
» With a Charlie Comella blocked punt in the 2025 season opener vs. Fordham (8/30), the Eagles found themselves in the top-25 nationally in blocked punts, and in the top three of the ACC.
» Boston College ranked inside the top 5 in the ACC last season in fewest penalties (3rd), fewest penalties per game (5th), fewest total penalty yards (3rd), and fewest penalty yards per game (5th).
