Andrej Borak Named to ACC Men’s Soccer Preseason Watch List

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer sophomore goalkeeper Andrej Borak has been named to the ACC Men's Soccer Preseason Watch List, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
The sophomore had a standout debut season in 2025, starting 14 games and recording four shutouts, including two over nationally ranked opponents. His shutouts of No. 7 Duke and No. 14 Virginia Tech twice earned him ACC Defensive Player of the Week. Borak was also named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.
He led all ACC goalies in saves per game with 4.50 and was third in total saves with 63. Borak had six games with five-plus saves, including a season-high nine at Stanford during the regular season. He also finished fifth in save percentage at .741.
The ACC Preseason Watch List is composed of 15 players across the conference, with Borak being the sole goalkeeper on the list.
The Eagles will kick off the regular season on Thursday, August 20, with a home match against Merrimack at 7 p.m. ET.
