BC welcomes first top-three ranked opponent since 2019 starting Thursday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – To remain within the NCAA-mandated limit for regular-season competitions, the Boston College baseball program has announced the cancellation of its non-conference game against UMass Lowell, originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 12.
The No. 23 Eagles currently hold a 36-17 record (17-10 in ACC play). By removing the UMass Lowell contest from the schedule, the Eagles will conclude their 2026 regular season with exactly 56 games played following the completion of the three-game series with third-ranked Georgia Tech, which is slated to begin Thursday, May 14, with first pitch at 6:00 p.m. The Yellow Jackets are the first top-3-ranked opponent to come to Harrington Athletics Village since 2019, when then-top-ranked North Carolina State visited.Â
