Women's Tennis Falls in Narrow 4-3 Battle at Florida State

TALLAHASEE, Fla. – The Boston College women's tennis team (8-11, 0-9 ACC) came up just short in a tightly contested match, falling 4-3 to Florida State, (5-14, 1-8 ACC) on Friday afternoon.

The Eagles started strong taking the doubles points with wins in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Tola Glowacka and Bella Camacho defeated the Seminoles 6-1 at No. 2 doubles while Leyden Games and Natalie Eordekian had a dominant showing at No. 3 with a 6-3 victory.

In singles play, Boston College continued to battle across the lineup, earning wins at No. 2 and No. 6 singles. Seren Agar highlighted the effort with a straight-sets victory over M.B. Deatherage, 7-6 (7-4), 6-1, while Camacho added another point with a decisive 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 6.
Florida State responded with wins on courts one, three, four and five, including a three-set battle at No. 5 that ultimately clinched the match for the Seminoles.
The Seminoles took the match, 4-3.
