Eagles Battling For Top Five at Surf Club Invitational

BC sits at 6-under par midway through second round
N. MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Boston College Men's Golf sits in Xth following the first day of competition at the Surf Club Invitational, hosted by Appalachian State. The Eagles shot 6-under before darkness postponed the rest of round two to tomorrow morning.
Junior Markus Lam (-3) and senior Jack Pogorelc (-3) were the highest placing players in the BC lineup, tied for 12th place midway through the second round. Both recorded an eagle on the course in the following action.
Next was freshman Tony Yin (E), who finished that round at even par to sit in a tie for 36th, recording six birdies in the afternoon. Right behind it Tommy Mangan (+1) who finished tied for 45th place, and freshman Connor Chisum (+$) rounding out the BC lineup.
The Eagles will finish the second round of action tomorrow morning before beginning round three of the tournament.Â
