Sydney Segalla and DMR Team Qualify for 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships

Championships will take place March 13-14 at the Randal Tyson Center
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Boston College is sending Sydney Segalla and its DMR team to the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, held at the Randal Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from March 13-14.
Segalla will compete in the 400m Semifinal Friday evening, with her event scheduled to start at 5:55 p.m. EST. She will look to qualify for a spot in the finals, which take place Saturday at 4:50 p.m.
The Salisbury, Connecticut, native had an outstanding indoor season, breaking six school records and two New England Collegiate records, and set a BU Track & Tennis Center facility record in the 300m. At the ACC Championships, she would break her school record in the 400m, using a last-lap kick to take the lead and finish with a time of 51.40, claiming her first individual title. That time not only set a school record, but placed her No. 8 nationally and first among all ACC competitors.
The DMR group, comprised of Hanna Hollins, Iris Bergman, Imogen Gardiner, and Segalla, will also compete on Friday at 8:15 p.m. EST. Â
The relay team set their championship qualifying time at the Husky Classic on February 13, running 10:47.53 for second place overall. That time broke a school record and placed them in the top 12 nationally throughout the remaining weeks of the regular season and championship week.
The NCAA Championship meet will be available to stream live on ESPN+ starting at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
