March 04, 2026 | Lacrosse
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse fell to Duke, 17-6, on Wednesday evening in Koskinen Stadium.
The Eagles fall to 2-4 and 2-2 in the ACC, while the Blue Devils improve to 5-2 and 2-1 in the league.
Marissa White led the team in scoring three goals for her third hat trick of the season. Giulia Colarusso tallied a pair of scores, and Molly Driscoll scored once with an assist for two points.
Julia Hodell carded a team-high three caused turnovers, and Shea Baker netted a pair of CTs and ground balls. Shea Dolce finished with nine saves in the cage. Â
The Blue Devils scored the first two goals of the game before Driscoll found Colarusso for a score to slice the lead in half, 2-1. However, the Blue Devils reeled off four straight to end the frame with a 6-1 advantage.
BC tried to build momentum in the early going in the second quarter when White scored on a free-position attempt, bringing the deficit to four. Duke responded by scoring three straight to end the half up by seven, 9-2.Â
Duke continued its momentum in the third, taking a double-digit cushion, and kept the Eagles at bay for the win.
The Eagles aim for a bounce-back win on Saturday when they face California on the road at 3 p.m. (ET).
