Eagles record multiple top-10 marks and season debuts

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Boston College Women's Track and Field Team kicked off its outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays Friday evening.

Anna Sonsini and Ava Carter opened with the 100m dash. Sonsini clocked an 11.83 to finish 25th overall, while Carter recorded a personal best time of 12.13 for a top 60 finish and the third fastest mark in program history.
Anna Becker followed in the 400m with a time of 55.01, winning her heat and breaking her previous best by a second. Becker's dash moves her to fifth all-time in program history.
In the 5000m, Abby Lewis recorded a 17:16.48 to finish 77th place, and Gabrielle Hamel ran a 17:25.33 for 90th place.
