Week three of spring practice began Tuesday morning for the Eagles
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The 2026 Boston College Eagles kicked off week three of spring football on Tuesday morning with their seventh practice session of the month.
After practice, sophomore running back Bo MacCormack III and senior cornerback Max Tucker met with the media.
The secondary set the tone early in Tuesday's practice, with Marcus Upton breaking up a deep ball on the sideline and Kameron Howard making a diving play on a slant across the middle.
The veteran defensive back Tucker knows what the team is capable of this season with the addition of many new faces.
"It's a new page. This is a new team. We all have to bring it together. It doesn't matter where you came from or what you did last year. This is a whole new year."
The offense controlled the tempo for much of the latter part of practice. True freshman running back Sedric Addison got things going with a 30-yard run down to the goal line. In a red-zone competitive period, the offense found the end zone on four separate occasions: once on a Nolan Ray reception from Mason McKenzie, once on an Evan Dickens rushing touchdown, once on a Mekhi Dodd rushing touchdown, and once on a Johnathan Montague Jr. reception from Grayson Wilson.
For second-year back McCormack, it's more than the Xs and Os on the field.
"I'm from this area, so this is obviously a very important place to me. Having roots here, it means a whole lot to me to represent this school and this state."
The Eagles return to the practice field on Thursday for their second practice of week three. Practices are closed to the public.
