James Hagens Named Hobey Baker Top 10 Finalist

The sophomore is tied for fifth in the nation in goals
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Boston College men's hockey sophomore forward James Hagens was selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
Hagens, a Hockey East First Team All-Star and the league's scoring champion, is currently tied for fifth in the country in goals with 23 and is seventh in points per game with 1.36.
The sophomore leads all of Hockey East in scoring with 45 points on 23 goals and 22 assists. He is currently on a 13-game point streak, totaling 22 points on 12 goals and 10 assists.
This marks the third straight in which the Eagles have had a Hobey Baker Top 10 Finalist, following Ryan Leonard last season and Cutter Gauthier and Will Smith during the 2023-24 campaign.
The Hobey Hat Trick will be announced on Thursday, April 2 with the winner being announced on Friday, April 10 in Las Vegas at the Frozen Four.
