No. 11 Eagles Welcome Vermont to Kelley Rink Friday

BC hosts the Catamounts for one game this weekend
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 11/13 Boston College men's hockey team hosts Vermont this Friday at Kelley Rink for its lone game of the weekend. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be available to watch on ESPN+ and can be heard on WEEI 850 AM.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles are 15-8-1 overall and 10-5-0 in Hockey East
• The Catamounts are 11-14-0 overall and 6-9-0 in league play
• BC is ranked No. 11 in the USCHO.com poll and No. 13 in the USA Hockey poll
BEANPOT SEMIFINAL WIN
• BC defeated Harvard 5-1 on Monday evening to advance to the Beanpot Championship for the second-straight year
• James Hagens led all players with three points on two goals and one assist
• Andre Gasseau, Lukas Gustafsson, Oscar Hemming, and Dean Letourneau each finished with two points
• Louka Cloutier made 30 saves between the pipes
THE EAGLES
• J. Hagens leads the Eagles in scoring with 28 points on 14 goals and 14 assists
• Letourneau has a team-high 15 goals and is second on the team in points with 27
• Jake Sondreal is tied with Hagens for the team lead in assists with 14
• Ryan Conmy and Will Vote are third on the team in goals with eight each
• Nolan Joyce leads the team in blocks with 29 and Aram Minnetian is just behind with 26

WALTER BROWN AWARD SEMIFINALISTS
• Gasseau, J. Hagens, and Teddy Stiga were named semifinalists for the 74th Walter Brown Award
• The Walter Brown Award is presented annually to the best American-born Division I college hockey player in New England.
• The last two Walter Brown Award recipients were Ryan Leonard (2025) and Cutter Gauthier (2024)
WEEKLY AWARD
• On Monday, Cloutier was named the Hockey East Defender of the Week, earning a weekly award for the second-straight week and fifth time this season
A LOOK AT VERMONT
• The Catamounts are coming off a weekend sweep over Stonehill in non-conference play, picking up 3-2 and 2-0 victories
• Colin Kessler leads Vermont in both assists (13) and points (16)
• Jens Richards (11) and Sebastian Törnqvist (10) are also both in double digits for points
• Jonah Aegerter has a team-high six goals
• Aiden Wright has started 21 of the 25 games between the pipes and has a .907 save percentage and a 2.75 goals against average
