DePerio Named ACC Freshman of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Boston College softball shortstop Kae DePerio has been named ACC Freshman of the Week for her performance at USF this last weekend, the conference announced Tuesday.
Freshman leadoff hitter DePerio delivered an outstanding week at the plate, hitting .750 (12-for-16) from the top of the order. She went a perfect 3-for-3 across three games last weekend. DePerio scored 10 runs, added a triple, and drew five walks, finishing the stretch with an impressive .810 on-base percentage and an .875 slugging percentage.
Defensively, she was just as sharp, recording a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage with 11 assists and six putouts.
This marks the first conference award for DePerio and Boston College this season.
