Eagles See Eleven Skiers Score in Two-Day Dartmouth Carnival

Lyme Center, N.H. - On Saturday afternoon the Boston College ski team concluded their second day at the Dartmouth Carnival. The men and women combined for 252 points over the two-day event
Day 1 - Giant Slalom
The weekend opened with the giant slalom, led by Bode Flanigan, who finished 11th with a time of 1:57.50 to pace the men. Alex McNabb followed with a 14th-place result, while Colin Hanna and Nick Kirwood rounded out the team scoring with finishes of 23rd and 29th, respectively.Â
On the women's side, Fiona Sawyer led the way with a time of 2:03.09 good for a 16th-place finish as Jasmine Whittaker also contributed points with a 26th-place result.
Day 2 - Slalom
The Eagles carried that momentum into slalom. Flanigan tied his season-best slalom performance with a fourth-place finish. Gunnar Travis broke into the top 20 with a career-best 17th-place run, while Kirwood finished close behind in 19th. Pedro Holscher made his season debut, earning points for the Eagles with a 28th-place finish.Â
Whittaker capped off the weekend for the women, recording a top-20 finish in 17th.
UP NEXT
The Eagles travel to Burlington, Vt. for the Vermont Carnival. The two-day event is set to start on Friday Feb. 6.
