Ski Finishes with Two Top 10 Placements at the EISA Championships

Hancock, Vt. - The Boston College ski team competed in the EISA Championship hosted by Middlebury on Friday and Saturday. The team finished with two top-10 placements over the two day event that also served as NCAA Regional qualifiers.

Day 1 - Giant Slalom
Fiona Sawyer led the way for the women with a career best 10th place finish on the GS course. On the men's side, Alex McNabb paced the Eagles with a 19th-place finish, followed closely by Gunnar Travis in 21st. Bode Flanigan rounded out the scoring group with a 23rd-place result.

Day 2 - Slalom
Flanigan finished sixth overall for the second week in a row with a time of 1:40.29, his sixth consecutive top-10 finish in the event this season. Nick Kirwood followed with an 18th-place finish, while McNabb added another strong result, placing 25th.

UP NEXT
The Eagles now await their NCAA individual selections, with hopes of earning a trip to Utah for the NCAA Championships, scheduled for March 11-14. The alpine races will be hosted at Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah.
