Eagles Finish at UVM Carnival

Stowe, Vt. - On Saturday afternoon the Boston College ski team concluded their second day at the UVM Carnival. The men and women combined for 249.5 points over the two-day event.
Day 1 - Giant Slalom
Day one action in the giant slalom saw Colin Hanna lead the men's squad with an 11th-place finish with a time of 2:04.76. Bode Flanigan came in 19th overall while Alex McNabb, and Gunnar Travis followed with top-30 performances to contribute team points. On the women's side, Fiona Sawyer paced the team with a 15th-place result, while Jasmine Whittaker and Cara Dempsey also placed inside the top 30 at 20th and 29th respectively.
Day 2 - Slalom
Competition continued on the second day in the slalom, where Flanigan recorded a top-10 finish, placing sixth overall to lead the men with a time of 1:49.95. Travis and Pedro Holscher added scoring finishes in 23rd and 24th, respectively. For the women, Sawyer once again led the Eagles with a 23rd-place performance, and Carly Hamilton rounded out the scoring with a 30th-place finish.
UP NEXT
The Eagles travel to Handcock, Mass. for the Williams Carnival. The two-day event is set to start on Friday Feb. 13.
