Cloutier Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week

The freshman earned his third shutout of the season on Saturday
AMESBURY, Mass. – Freshman goaltender Louka Cloutier was named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
On Friday, Cloutier made 23 saves, including 12 in the third period, to help the Eagles to a 5-2 win over New Hampshire on Friday. The freshman followed that up with a 29-save shutout in the 3-0 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday.
This marks the second time this season that Cloutier has been named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week, and fourth weekly award overall.
Cloutier and the Eagles are back in action this Friday at Boston University for the 299th edition of the Battle of Comm Ave. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcasted live on NESN and ESPN+ and can be heard on WEEI 850 AM.
