The Eagles' six home games include four matchups against programs who haven’t traveled to Alumni Stadium in at least three years
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Football's complete 2026 schedule was announced by the ACC live on the ACC Network and ESPN2 on Monday night.
Boston College kicks off the 2026 campaign on the road at Cincinnati (Sept. 5) for the first time since 1996 after the programs last met at a neutral site in 2019. The Eagles also have one open date on the schedule, with a bye during week six of the season.
Boston College will follow up its road season opener with three straight home games: vs. Rutgers (Sept. 11), vs. Maine (Sept. 19), and vs. Virginia Tech (Sept. 26). The home opener against the Scarlet Knights on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 will be Boston College's annual "Red Bandanna Game," Athletic Director Blake James announced on Saturday. The Eagles will begin the month of October on the road, at SMU (Oct. 3) before their bye week (Oct. 10).
After the bye week, the Eagles return home to host Pittsburgh (Oct. 17) before traveling to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech (Oct. 24). For the first time since 2020, Boston College will travel to Durham to take on Duke (Oct. 31) before returning home to host Florida State (Nov. 7). The matchup against the Seminoles marks the first time the programs will square off since Head Coach Bill O'Brien recorded his first win as the Eagles Head Coach on September 2, 2024, when Boston College knocked off No. 10 Florida State 28-13.
In another edition of, "The Holy War," the Eagles will travel to South Bend for the first time since 2022, their fourth matchup at Notre Dame (Nov. 14) in the last 15 years. Boston College will look for their fourth consecutive victory over Syracuse dating back to 2023 when the Orange come to Alumni Stadium on Nov. 21.
The Eagles wrap up regular season play when they travel to CFP National Championship runner-up Miami (Nov. 28). In just their fourth matchup in the last 14 years, the game marks Boston College Football's first trip to Miami since 2011.
