
Eagles' Bowry named to Jason Witten Collegiate Man of The Year Watch List

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Eagles offensive lineman Jude Bowry was named to the 2025 Jason Witten Man of the Year Watch List. The annual award recognizes those who display exceptional courage, integrity and sportsmanship both on and off the field.Â
Ahead of the 2025 season, Bowry was named a team captain for the first time in his career. He is one of 67 players on the Witten Award's watch list.Â
Bowry has spent his entire four-year career at Boston College, playing in 25 career games making 17 starts. He is regarded as one of the Eagles' most vocal leaders. Bowry's dedication to building strong connections with his teammates, as well as his multi-year starting role on the offensive line reflects his leadership qualities and commitment to the team's success.Â
In 2025, Bowry started at left tackle for an offense that gained 555 total yards of offense vs. Fordham (8/30) and 457 total yards of offense at Michigan State (9/6).Â
In 2024, Bowry started all 12 regular season games at left tackle for the Eagles and allowed just two sacks in 321 total dropback snaps. In addition, Bowry blocked for a running back group that gained 200 or more rushing yards four times last season, and 300 or more rushing yards twice.Â
The winner of the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year will receive a $10,000 contribution in his name to his school's athletic scholarship fund. The contribution will be made by Jason Witten's SCORE Foundation, the official charity of Jason and his wife Michelle. The winner will be announced at an award ceremony at The Star in Frisco, Texas on April 16, 2026.
