Olivia Shippee Records Shutout in Tie Against California

BERKELEY, Calif. – Olivia Shippee recorded her sixth shutout of the season in a 0-0 tie against the California Golden Bears on Sunday afternoon.
Boston College's record now stands at 4-3-5 overall and 0-2-2 in the ACC, while California holds a record of 6-1-6 overall and 2-0-2 in the conference.
In the first half, the Eagles managed to produce four shots on goal, compared to the Golden Bears' two. However, neither team was able to take advantage of their opportunities, leaving the score at 0-0 as they went into halftime.
During the second half, the Golden Bears effectively slowed down the Boston College offense, allowing only four shots, none of which were on target. Ultimately, neither team found the back of the net after the full 90 minutes, resulting in a 0-0 tie.
Olivia Shippee was able to save all four shots she faced, making this her sixth shutout of the season.
