Borak Named ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

The freshman earns his first ACC weekly award
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer freshman goalkeeper Andrej Borak has been named the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
The Serbia native posted a career-high six saves in a 1-0 victory on the road at No. 14 Virginia Tech on Sunday evening, earning his third clean sheet.
The freshman has earned three shutouts in his six appearances on the season, making 22 saves over 540 minutes.
Boston College takes on No. 5 NC State this Friday at the Newton Soccer Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
