Toews to play with Japanese National Team for Nippon Life Cup 2025

The sophomore point guard will face the Netherlands in two games on July 5-6 in Tokyo
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Luka Toews will play with Japan's Men's National Basketball team this weekend in a pair of games against the Netherlands.
The sophomore is among the 18 players on the roster for the Nippon Life Cup 2025 to be held at Ariake Arena in Tokyo from July 5-6. Â This tournament serves as a training camp prior to the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup, to be held in August in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Both games will be televised and streamed live in Japan - July 5 on TV Asahi affiliates and streamed simultaneously on ABEMA (13:30 JST); July 6 on Nippon Television affiliates and streamed live on TVer (15:00 JST).
