
Lacrosse Lands Eight Eagles on USA Lacrosse All-American List

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - USA Lacrosse announced its All-Americans on Thursday, with eight Boston College players earning national recognition.
BC tied for the team lead with the most selections among the 34 players that made the list.
Three Eagles made the first and second team while two made honorable mention.
Rachel Clark | First Team | Attack | Devon, Pa. | Senior
- Leads the team and the nation with 91 goals
- Second in the country with 113 points
- ACC Attacker of the Year
- Tewaaraton Finalist
- ACC All-First Team
- Is the only player in the ACC with 100 points
- Leads the ACC in points (5.95) and goals per game (4.79)
- Active career leader with 296 goals and third with 365 points Â
Shea Baker | First Team | Defense | Ithaca, N.Y. | Junior
- ACC Defender of the Year
- ACC All-First Team
- Leads the team in caused turnovers (35) and ground balls (27) and is second with 88 draw controlsÂ
- Only player in the ACC with more than 30 caused turnovers, 25 ground balls and 85 draw controls
- Made the top 25 Tewaaraton Watch List
Shea Dolce | First Team | Goalkeeper | Darien, Conn. | Junior
- Back-to-back ACC Goalkeeper of the Year
- Tewaaraton Finalist
- ACC All-First Team
- The junior leads the nation and the league with a career-high .556 goals against average. First in the ACC with 170 saves and 10th in the country
- She has an ACC-leading 10 games with 10-plus saves, while her 7.49 goals against average is second, and she leads the league in minutes
- Dolce's 463 career saves are second among active juniors in the nation

- Is fourth all-time in school history in points

- Second on the team with 98 points - good for second in the ACC and 10th in the nation
- Second on the team, third in the ACC and ninth in the country with 68 goals
- Her 3.58 goals and 5.16 points are third and fourth, respectively, in the ACC
- Has 13 games with five-plus points
- Is second among active leaders with 371 points and second with 251 goals
Lydia Colasante | Second Team | Defense | Newark, Del. | Sophomore
- Second on the team with 20 caused turnovers, 23 ground balls and third with 53 draw controls
- Set career highs in all three categories
- Made the Tewaaraton Watch List and the ILWomen.com Midseason All-American Team
Abbey Herod | Honorable Mention | Draw | Canandaigua, N.Y. | Junior
- ACC All-First Team
- Leads the team with a career-high 95 draw controls - good for fourth in the ACC
- Her 5.59 draw controls per game are fifth in the league
- Has three games with double-digit draw controls, highlighted by a personal-best 13 against UVA
- Is ninth all-time in program history with 95 draw controls

- Fourth on the team with 55 points and 31 goals
- Her 24 assists are good for third
- One of three players on the team with at least 30 goals and 20 assists
- Has 11 games with three-plus points, while is averaging 4.3 over the last three games (13 points)
The Eagles return to action on Sunday at 12 p.m. against the winner of Stony Brook and Loyola Maryland in Alumni Stadium.Â
