Women's Track and Field Competes at ACC Outdoor Championships

Eagles competed at ACC Championships over the span of May 15-17 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Boston College Women's Track and Field competed at the 2025 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Kentner Stadium, which took place May 15-17.Â
Boston College finished 18th overall, earning three points. Virginia won the Women's team title with 93 points, while Louisville (89) and Clemson (86) rounded out the top three. Â
Thursday
Aliyah Canty started off day 1 of the ACC Outdoor Championships with the Women's 400m Hurdles Prelims on Thursday evening. Canty became the first Eagle to advance to the finals as she finished seventh overall with a time of 58.67. Canty now sits at No. 2 all-time in school history, and currently is 33rd in the East Regional rankings.Â
Anna Sonsini finished 16th overall in the Women's 200m prelims as she earned a time of 23.84.
Four Eagles competed in the 1500m prelims on Thursday evening. Natalie Millerova (4:24.32) led the way as she finished 24th, while Aoife Dunne (4:25.49) placed 27th, Molly Hudson (4:31.16) placed 33rd, and Yasmine Abbes (4:32.46) rounded out the competitors placing 35th.Â
Boston College had a pair of athletes competing in the 10,000m Final, as Abby Loveys and Roshni Singh both finished top-20. Loveys earned 19th place with her time of 35:13.62, while Singh took 20th and had a time of 35:17.62.Â
FridayÂ
Hanna Hollins was the lone Eagle to compete on the Women's side on Friday as she ran in the 800m prelims. Hollins finished with a time of 2:09.04 and took 19th place.Â
Saturday
Emily Rohan started off the final day of the championship meet with the Women's Javelins competition. Rohan finished in 11th place while earning a mark of 40.04m.
The Women's 4x100m relay group of Anna Becker, Kylee Bernard, Aliyah Canty, and Anna Sonsini earned the school record for the event as they compiled a time of 46.09, and finished 13th overall. The group of four later went on to earn their second school record performance to end the meet, as they earned a time of 3:36.34 and took eighth place overall.Â
Aliyah Canty finished seventh overall in the Women's 400m Hurdles final as she raced to a time of 59.58.Â
Ella Fadil and Abby Lewis both competed in the Women's 5,000m Final on Saturday evening. Fadil (16:00.12) took 11th place, while Lewis (16:58.65) finished 29th.Â
