In the bottom of the seventh, the Eagles worked the bases loaded with no outs, courtesy of a perfect bunt down the third-base line from Jace Roossien. One batter later, Patrick Roche came up and delivered, smoking a two-run double over the right fielder's head to cut the deficit to 5-4. With runners on second and third, Jack Toomey grounded out to bring the tying run across, making it a 5-5 game after seven full.
