Men's Tennis Tops Charleston 5-2

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (3-3, 0-2) hosted Charleston (5-4, 1-0) Wednesday afternoon in Weymouth, Mass. defeating the Cougars 5-2.

Boston College started strong, recording three victories in doubles, earning the point moving to singles play. Aidan Pack and Jake Vassel recorded a 7-6 victory, Liam O'Leary and Caleb Saltz recorded a 6-4 victory and Andrew Ilie and Matthew Overvelde recorded a 6-4 victory.

Ilie recorded his second win of the day as he recorded 6-0, 7-5 victories. Mai Gao recorded his first victory of the afternoon in a super tie breaker as he recorded 5-7, 6-2 and 7-6 wins. Pack recorded his second victory of the day as he tallied 6-3, 7-5. Connor McDonald also tallied his first victory as he went 6-1, 6-2.
