Men's Tennis Falls 4-1 to Virginia

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (3-6, 0-5) opened their weekend hosting Virginia (10-5, 2-3) in Weymouth Friday afternoon, dropping the match 4-1.

The Eagles entered the weekend full of power as they earned the doubles point headed into singles play. Andrew Ilie and Matthew Overvelde recorded a 6-3 victory against UVA's Ty Switzer and Stefan Regalia. Liam O'Leary and Caleb Saltz headed into a super tiebreaker to win their match, 7-6 (9-7).

Virginia recorded four victories across the singles matches, ending the match.
