This is the second time the two teams have met outside of Boston

Fort Myers, Fla. - Boston College fell to Boston University by a score of 3-0 on Friday afternoon, in what was just the second time the battle of Commonwealth Avenue took place outside of Boston. The last time the two teams met outside of Boston was in 1994 when they squared off in Fort Myers.

The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fourth, when Sophie Navier singled, making it 1-0 Terriers. BU added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth, making it 3-0.

Both Kelly Colleran and Bailey Kendziorski made their collegiate debuts inside the circle. Colleran threw five innings, while Kendziorski threw one.
