
O'Brien, Eagles Announce 2026 Signing Class

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Head Football Coach Bill O'Brien announced the signing of his second recruiting class during Wednesday's early signing period. O'Brien and his staff signed 23 future Eagles to National Letters of Intent.
O'Brien inked 10 players on offense, including an offensive lineman from Germany, 12 on defense and one specialist. Locally, Boston College brought in four players from the state of Massachusetts in a class that represents 14 states and two countries.
"Today, we're thrilled to unveil the Class of 2026 for Boston College Football," stated O'Brien. "We believe the Class of 2026 to be a collection of student-athletes exemplifying outstanding character, strong ability, and a clear understanding of Boston College's mission."
Sedric Addison

A running back from Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Ga, Sedric Addison totaled 14 touchdowns (eight rushing, six receiving) as a senior, which was best in Region 7 6A in Georgia. In addition, Addison registered over 900 yards of total offense in 2025. Addison earned Region 7 6A honors after his junior season. Addison also competed in track and field, serving as a State qualifier in the 100-meter dash as a junior with a time of 10.82. He also competed in the 200-meter dash, posting a 22.42 in his junior season as well.

Femi Babalola arrives at Boston College as a top-25 quarterback nationally (ESPN). As a senior at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn, Babalola threw 12 touchdowns and ran for six touchdowns on the ground. Babalola will compete for a state championship on Friday, December 5. In his junior season, Babalola had 10 touchdowns, totaling 1,152 passing yards while adding 144 yards and one touchdown on the ground. As a sophomore, Babalola added 10 touchdowns, registering 1,646 passing yards and 169 rushing yards with two scores on the ground. Babalola also competed in track and field, posting an 11.39 100-meter dash time and a 19 '7 long jump distance as a junior. As a sophomore, Babalola ran an 11.52 100-meter dash and a 22.84 200-meter dash.Â

As a senior at the Kingwood Oxford School in West Hartford, Conn., Biggins caught a school record 57 passes for 880 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding a sack and an interception on defense. Biggins achieved 1st-team All-NEPSAC and 1st team All-Evergreen honors in 2025. In his junior season, Biggins caught a career-best eight touchdown receptions on 49 total catches for 871 yards while recording two interceptions on defense.

Cameron McGee, a 6-foot-3 defensive tackle from Grayson, Ga., joins the Boston College Football program as a top-85 ranked defensive lineman nationally (ESPN). As a senior at Grayson High School, McGee recorded 28 tackles, including 10 for loss, and three sacks. McGee won a state championship in his junior season.Â

Xavier Myers arrives at The Heights as a top-20 prospect from the state of Maryland (Rivals). As a senior at Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, Md, Myers totaled one interception, one forced fumble and one punt blocked for a touchdown en route to All-MIAA cornerback honors. Myers also added 204 yards on 43 carries with two touchdowns. As a track and field athlete, Myers posted a 10.82 in the 100-meter dash.

Gavin Neil, a 6-foot-1 defensive lineman from Chicago, Ill, comes to The Heights as a top-30 prospect from the state of Illinois and a top-45 player nationally at his position (ESPN). As a senior at Marian Catholic High School, Neil racked up over 40 tackles, seven sacks, and two fumble recoveries en route to All-State, All-Conference and Player of the Year honors. Neil's seven sacks were the best in his conference.Â

A 6-foot defensive back, Jordan Rodriguez arrives at The Heights as a top-20 prospect from the state of New Jersey (ESPN) and a top-70 player nationally at his position (Rivals). Rodriguez amassed over 200 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and two interceptions in three seasons of varsity football at St. Peter's Prep.Â
Dean Ruksnaitis

A 6-foot-3 offensive lineman from Paxton, Mass, Dean Ruksnaitis arrives at Boston College as the number nine interior offensive lineman in the country (ESPN), and a top-15 prospect from the state of Massachusetts (ESPN, Rivals). Ruksnaitis played his high school football at the Williston-Northhampton School. As a senior, Ruksnaitis earned NEPSAC Class-A Lineman of the Year honors. Â
Demeterius Thompson

A 6-foot-4 defensive end from Brentwood, Mo, Demeterius Thompson arrives at The Heights ranked as a four-star prospect (247Sports), a top-3 player from the state of Missouri (247Sports), and a top-40 edge rusher nationally (247Sports, Rivals). A three-sport athlete, Thompson played basketball and competed in track and field in addition to football. In his senior season, Thompson recorded 48 total tackles, nine sacks and five touchdowns. Thompson was the Missouri Class 2 State Champion in the triple jump, posting a 44'7 as a junior. In addition, Thompson placed third in the state in the 330-meter hurdles with a time of 39.39. In his sophomore year, Thompson was a Missouri Class 2 State Qualifier in the triple jump and 300-meter hurdles.Â

Bruno Werner, a 6-foot-9 offensive lineman, comes to The Heights by way of the NFL Academy in London, England. Growing up in Chemnitz, Germany, Werner originally played soccer before discovering American football after watching the sport on TV. Werner ranks in the top five of all international prospects (247Sports). Werner joins Pape Abdoulaye Sy and Andy Quinn as current Eagles who matriculated through the NFL Academy.Â
