2026 Training Camp Practice #5- August 10

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The 2026 Boston College football team held its third consecutive training camp practice Monday morning, marking its fifth practice session since the start of August.
Monday's practice featured a greater emphasis on special teams, with both Andy Quinn and Bryce LaFollette working on punts, and Luca Lombardo and true freshman Jonathan Hewitt working on field goals.
One-on-ones between the Eagles wide receivers and secondary continued to bring the energy to the Chamberlin Practice Fields. Quarterback Mason McKenzie hit wide receivers Reed Swanson and Jackson Wade in stride for a touchdown each. Quarterback Grayson Wilson threw a touchdown of his own later in the period to wide receiver Jaedn Skeete. On the last play of the first competitive team period, second-year cornerback Ashton Cunningham broke up a pass at the last second in the end zone.
The defense carried this momentum from the opening team period as practice continued on. Senior safety KP Price forced a fumble before Carter Davis and Max Tucker each had tip-drill interceptions.
It was the offense who ended the last practice before their second off day on a high note. The Caledonia, Mich. product McKenzie found the Colgate transfer Swanson for a 50 yard touchdown reception. The play of the day belonged to Jaedn Skeete, who hauled in a one-handed catch towards the back pylon of the end zone on the final play of practice.
After an off-day Tuesday, the Eagles return to the practice fields Wednesday for their sixth training camp session. Practices are closed to the public.
