2026 Training Camp Practice #4- August 9

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Eagles kicked off day four of training camp with their second practice of the weekend on Sunday morning.
One-on-ones between the offensive and defensive lines and the defensive backs and receivers made up the first competitive period of Sunday's practice. It was the receivers who got out in front first, with second-year pass catcher Dawson Pough making a diving catch after a double move toward the goal line for the play of the day. Nedrick Boldin Jr. would follow, flying down the sideline and making the catch in stride. Later in the period, Reed Swanson used all of his 6 '6 frame to make a contested catch in the middle of the field.
The running game found another gear on Sunday, with Evan Dickens and Nolan Ray breaking out for sizable gains.
"We have some really fast running backs, we've got a lot of running backs that have different skill sets as well," quarterback Mason McKenzie told the media this week. "We've got some fast guys on the outside, too. We've got speed everywhere, and that's obviously exciting."
The defense would have their turn later in Sunday's practice. Senior safety KP Price got things started for the secondary with an interception in the deep part of the field. Up front, defensive lineman Onye Nwosisi made his way into the backfield on back-to-back plays. Safety Carter Davis also added an interception of his own later in practice.
"Having experienced guys that have played in games and made plays, that's going to be very important for this team," cornerback Max Tucker told the media yesterday.
Sophomore running back Bo MacCormack III ended Sunday's practice on a high note for the offense after scoring on a 30-yard run.
The Eagles will hold their third straight day of practice on Monday before an off-day on Tuesday. Practices are closed to the public.
