Homberger Takes Seventh at Singlehanded Championships

NORFOLK, Va. - Boston College freshman Jake Homberger competed in the Singlehanded National Championship finals this weekend, hosted by Old Dominion, finishing seventh place.
Homberger was one of two freshmen to finish in the top 10 of the championships. He accumulated 57 points to claim the seventh-place result, becoming the first Boston College Eagle to race in the event since the 2021-22 season.
Boston College is back in action next weekend, competing in its final regatta of 2025, the Match Race National Championships in St. Petersburg, Florida. The race will take place on Nov. 15-16.
