Eagles' Bowry, Taylor Receive East-West Shrine Bowl Invitations

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College offense linemen Jude Bowry and Logan Taylor earned invitations to the 2026 East West Shrine Bowl.Â
Bowry, a team captain, has started all seven games at left tackle he played for Boston College in 2025, totaling 19 starts at the position dating back to the 2024 season opener. In addition, Bowry is one of 20 semifinalists for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award.Â
Taylor, a team captain, has started all nine games for Boston College this season, making six starts at right guard, two starts at left tackle, and one start at right tackle. The redshirt senior was also named to the Preseason Senior Bowl Watch List.Â
Five Boston College student athletes in the last two seasons have garnered recognition from the nation's longest-running college all-star football game, with offensive lineman Jack Conley, defensive lineman Cam Horsley and offensive lineman Drew Kendall participating in last year's contest. In recent history, the Eagles have sent at least one student-athlete representative to the East-West Shrine Bowl since 2018.Â
The East-West Shrine Bowl is a best-in-class all-star event that will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco,TX on January 27, 2026. Players will be coached by NFL coaches, in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities at the highest level.
