2026 Training Camp Practice #13- August 20
August 20, 2026 | Football
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The 2026 Boston College Eagles held their thirteenth practice of training camp on Thursday morning, their fourth consecutive day of practice in as many days.
After practice, wide receivers coach Joe Dailey met with the media, as well as defensive end Kris Jones and tight end Zeke Moore.
The Eagles wide receivers and defensive backs each made plays to get their side of the ball off and running during Thursday's one on one period. Quarterback Grayson Wilson hit wide receiver Dawson Pough in stride down the sideline for a touchdown. Later in the period, Carter Davis and Charleston Coldon each jumped in front of a pass to break it up.
"We have so many different guys that we can plug and play at so many different positions. Being able to pick pieces up and move them around challenges a defense," Dailey told the media about his group after practice.
The running backs continued to provide a spark out of the backfield, with Evan Dickens breaking off a 35-yard run for a touchdown towards the end of practice. Second-year running back Mekhi Dodd also had some sizable gains on the ground as well.
"The running back room is really solid," Zeke Moore said after practice. "They make us [as blockers] look good."
The Eagles specialists took advantage of more reps during Thursday's practice, with both Bryce LaFollette and Andy Quinn punting, and Luca Lombardo, Jonathan Hewitt and Sam Stone kicking field goals.
On defense, Marcus Upton continued to make his presence felt in the secondary, returning another interception for a touchdown. Clemson transfer Michael Mankaka added an interception of his own to go with a couple of pass breakups as well.
The passing game later provided a spark for the offense in the red zone, with Mason McKenzie, Grayson Wilson and Femi Babalola all throwing touchdown passes to three different receivers.
The Eagles return to the practice field on Friday for their fifth consecutive day of practice. Practices are closed to the public.
