
Women’s Soccer Falls to NC State

NEWTON, Mass. –The Boston College Eagles dropped a 1-0 contest to NC State on Thursday evening.
Boston College's record now stands at 4-5-5 overall and 0-4-2 in the ACC, while NC State improves to 4-6-4 overall and 3-1-2 in conference play.
In the first half, both teams had three shots each, but only one of those shots was on target. As a result, they went into halftime with the score tied at 0-0.
During the second half, Boston College managed two shots on goal, but neither resulted in a score. In the 75th minute, NC State broke the tie when Jade Bordeleau successfully got the ball past goalkeeper Olivia Shippee, securing the only goal of the game.
The Eagles will return home to face Louisville on Sunday, October 12, at 12:00 PM.
