BC returns to Alumni Stadium for its next two games
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Boston College football dropped a 48-7 decision at Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon.

Pitt opened the scoring with a touchdown on their first drive of the afternoon when Mason Heintschel connected with Justin Holmes for a 14-yard touchdown. The Panthers capitalized on their second drive to push the lead to 10-0 as Trey Butkowski drilled a 31-yard field goal.

In the second quarter, Pitt added three more touchdowns to go into halftime with a 31-0 lead. The Panthers tallied another two scores and a field goal in the second half.

Boston College got on the board late in the fourth quarter. Shaker Reisig came in for his collegiate debut and led the Eagles on a nine-play, 80-yard touchdown drive. Reisig went 3-for-3 for 70 yards, with his longest coming on a 45-yard pass to Kaelan Chudzinski. Reisig went to Chudzinski on the touchdown as well for three yards.

Chudzinski led BC in receiving with three catches for 70 yards and one touchdown, the first of his career. Omar Thornton and KP Price both finished with 10 total tackles, while Thornton also had a forced fumble. Edwin Kolenge, Chris Marable Jr., and Cameron Martinez each had a QB hurry.

Boston College returns to Alumni Stadium next Saturday for the first of two-straight home games. The Eagles face Clemson with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff and the game will be available to watch live on ACC Network.
