Eagles Conclude Fall Season Sunday Afternoon

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- Boston College concluded the fall portion of its season this afternoon, finishing at 50-over par at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational. The Eagles (306-309-299=914) competed against 12 nationally ranked teams, six of which are ranked in the top 25.
Senior Jack Pogorlec (81-77-70) recorded a 70 on his final round scorecard, tallying six birdies to propel him to a four-way tie for 62nd place. Close behind was junior Markus Lam (79-77-73), who shot a 73 to finish at 13-over par tied in 66th place after 54 holes.
Junior William Musson (72-77-83) finished the tournament tied for 68th place at 14-over par, leading the Eagles the first two rounds. Freshman Tony Yin (74-80-78) earned a tie 70th place and sophomore Tommy Mangan (85-87-78) rounded out the lineup in 75th place.
Boston College wraps up fall action with one tournament win (Red Bandanna Invitational) and two individual wins, both from Lam. The team returns on February 8-10 for the Palmas del Mar Collegiate in Humacao, P.R. to kick off the spring season.
